Drop Span for a catcher a good move?

Postby OuTrAgE » Thu May 26, 2011 8:53 pm

Napoli has been struggling, so I was looking at some available catchers.

Kurt Suzuki
Jorge Posada
Ramón Hernández (w)
Carlos Ruiz
Ryan Doumit
Jarrod Saltalamacchia

Any of those guys worth adding? Is Span droppable? Stubbs is my CF and I have Melky Cabrera on the bench.

I'd stick with what you have. Napoli has been awful this month, but at least he has good power potential, a nice ballpark, and a good offense around him. I don't think the other catchers offer you a whole lot, so I'd stick with the potential of Napoli.
