Does anyone know if he will be playing OF or 1B?

He's been mashing in AAA. I'd take a shot on him in NL-only leagues and watch in deep mixed for now.

He plays nowhere, he rides the pine. Not in the lineup again today. I really don't understand why teams call up top prospects if they don't have a place for them to play...

He'll be in the lineup tomorrow, but Bochy said he's going to be using him as a bench player. Frustrating, I know.

as a Giants fan i dont know WTF is going on.
They need to give the kid AB's though, and Rowand should never be playing over him. Even Huff should be getting time off to get Belt in the lineup as often as possible.
The decisions Bochy makes are just baffling.
Who knows what position he will play... i'd be surprised if Bochy himself even knows yet.

I don't get that. Why bring up a top prospect to sit? :-S

He is playing outfield today, and I have 2 hopes here. 1) he gets 5 outfield starts for eligibility & 2) they come to their senses and play him regularly because they're just going to mess with his psyche if they fart around with this in & off the bench business.

So apparently they intend to jerk Belt around as he is not in the line up today after going 1 for 3 yesterday. Maybe rowand is that much better? :-?
