I definitely think this is too much of a boost to only be giving up Cabrera. I can understand the indifference to dealing away Hanson, but value is what value is. Why would you sell a brand new BMW for pennies on the dollar just because you don't necessarily value it as high as you should? A mild discount is fine, but I think you can definitely get more than just MIggy for them.

Tex is definitely playing very well right now and I don't think the boost that Miggy's stats will give you is worth a Hanson

NO worries, man, I just honestly couldn't tell what your advice was based on what you wrote....but now re-reading it and seeing your explanation I see you meant trade Sandoval/Hanson for a better bat, which is a good idea. I've tried that and will keep trying. Funny thing is, the guy who's most interested in Hanson is a bleeding blue Dodger fan and will NOT trade for ANY Giant, even if he gets a great deal. I offered him Sandoval -- his 3B are Alvarez (AAA) and Chipper (53 yrs old & brittle) -- and he reacted as if I'd offered him Satan. I just can't relate to that. I'm a big Red Sox fan but if Cano, CC, ARod, Tex, Grandy, whoever can help me win my league and some $, I don't care how many pinstripes are on their jerseys, I want 'em.
