I was offered Jaime Garcia for Jacoby Ellsbury. Should I do this?
Here are the scoring categories in my roto league: HR, SB, K, AVG, OBP, SLG for hitters, and QS, SV, K, ERA, H/9, BB/9 for pitchers.
I am leading the league by a good margin in SB. Both players appear to be great keepers, since we use auction value x 110% as how much we spend on the keepers next year. I got Ellsbury for $8 this year and he got Garcia for $1. So next year, Ellsbury would be a keeper at $9, and Garcia $2.
If I trade Ellsbury, I could pick up Beltran to fill in. I am low on HR, so this would help there.
My roster:
C- R. Martin
1B- Votto
2B- Utley
3B- Bautista
SS- Reyes
LF- Joyce
CF- Ellsbury
RF- Ichiro
Util- Berkman
BN- R. Roberts, Wieters, Lowrie
SP- C. Lee
SP- Marcum
SP- Pineda
SP- Romero
SP- Billingsley
RP- Rivera
RP- Valverde
BN- Peavy, Latos
I'm looking for some in-depth analysis. Thanks a bunch guys!
