McCutchen Trade - WHIR

I give up McCutchen, Lowrie, Reynolds and get Victor Martinez, Dunn and Gregg*


10 team, 13x13 scoring, non-keeper

My team:

Santana
Butler
Pedroia, Kelly Johnson
Hanley, Lowrie
Wright, Reynolds, Youkilis
Grandy, McCutch, Choo, BJ Upton, Bruce, Heyward

We start - C,1B, 2B, SS, 3B, INF, OF, OF, OF, Util

Obviously I have a solid catcher now, but Vmart could start at 1B or INF for me. Even without McCutch, I still can start Choo, Bruce, Grandy and Upton. Or sit one and put Dunn at Util.

Thoughts?

Good trade for you if Dunn turns it around.......... Your OF can take the hit of losing McCutchen.

Thanks for the help on mine. I really like this deal for you based on your current OF. You can stand to lose Cutch's speed and you're getting a nice power boost and VMart will be a great boon to your average.

I think I would do this. If anything, it gives you a good amount of flexibility in your roster, especially with 2 C's who spend time at other positions. Your OF is strong, and you get a solid return for Cutch while selling Reynolds and Lowrie. I think you are improving your team with this by giving yourself the flexibility to wait for Dunn.

I am going to have to agree with the rest. YOu are a winner with this deal. I actually like it a great amount for you as you get VMart and Dunn. Your OF rocks so you can afford to lose Cutch.
