Basically, what do you think Ichiro is worth, a top 25 pitcher or better?

Are top batters worth more or pitchers? I assume batters, I dunno though. What do you think Ichiro's straight up value is worth?

No, you can do better than Lewis for Ichiro based on name value alone.

Batters are always more valuable in my book....... You can find pitching through the year. As for value.... Maybe a Cain/Verlander/Scherzer/Haren/Oswalt range..........
