Things you can not explain to yourself

I am a long time fantasy player.. I think of myself being pretty good, but at the moment I am completly at a loss and I bet other owners out there feel the same way


Look at Team A.... I feel it is completly stacked HITTING AND PITCHING
Look at TEam B....... Looks mehh at best


I am team A and I am in 11th place with a 24- 42- 4 record. 23 games out of first place already while team B is in first place...


Guys how to you convince yourself to not jump out the window in these situations ?

Team A is a bunch of crap with some waiver heroes mixed in. Team B has a bunch of proven players who have been good for a long time. Sorry, but you are smoking too much of the good stuff my friend.

.. how is it, that a large majority of Americans could probably pick out Pamela Anderson's vagina from a lineup, but wouldn't know their Congressman if he was sitting next to them at the lunch counter.

This doesn't really happen though. I have played a lot of each and both require a ton of luck to win but both end up with the best players towards the top of the standings most seasons.

if you just go position by position down each lineup, team A only has a better player at like 3 positions. should not be too hard to explain to yourself there.
And your pitching has bigger names at the top of the rotation than his, and is a lot better than his IF you go by the preseason projections - unfortunately players dont read those. And you have much bigger question marks/duds at the bottom of your rotation than he does. His is more balanced top to bottom.

More simply, he has a bunch of guys that have performed - whether its because he did his research and went after guys that he thought were way undervalued or whether its due to sheer dumb luck doesnt really matter
