Do I drop anybody to pick him up? My other closers are. Hanrahan, Santos,Madson. I have Bailey on the DL My starters are Price, Oswalt, Colon, Orgando, Guthrie, Naverson and Travis Wood. I picked up Naverson to replace Beachy on the DL. I'll have to drop a pitcher when Bailey comes off the DL. I'm in 2nd place in saves but only two ahead of third place. I'm in dead last in K's
I don't trust this guy at all and you've got Bailey coming so you're fine. You "could" drop Narveson for him if you really felt compelled to do so, but idk. You'll either drop Narveson for Bailey later...or Melancon now (and then drop him for Bailey). So, you "can"...I just don't like this cat.
So other than not picking up Meloncon you are saying I should drop Naverson or Colon and Guthrie when bailey comes back? Colon has a start aginst Seattle on Sunday. I'm hoping to get a well pitched game from Naverson tonight against the Nats. And Guthrie has pitched pretty well over all. Just no run support.
Now I'm confused. So when bailey comes back drop either Guthrie, Naverson or Colon ? In that order? Or did you mean drop one of them to pick up Meloncon? I'm thinking you mean when bailey comes back.
No. Drop any of those starters for Meloncon now. There is no one else in the Houston pen that really poses any threat and I do not see Lyon getting the job back when he gets off the DL.

I'd drop Guthrie for Melancon now and then Narveson once Bailey returns from the DL. Neither SP will be a big loss to you.
I'm going to see if Meloncon stays on the wire a couple of more days. we are allowed one callup a week. I'm waiting to see if Rizzo, Lawrie or Jennings comes up between now Saturday at midnight.I haven't done a callup this week. It would be my luck I would callup Meloncon and one of those three will come up and I would miss out.
