I would say Melancon is a decent upgrade if any at all. Yes, Jansen did get lit up tonight (not pretty but welcome to the dodgers ways) but those are the first earned runs hes given up in over a month. I'm not sure I'd drop him just because of tonight. Make sure you have additional reasoning to dropping him.
Jansen is not even a piece that crosses my mind.... I had then dropped Melacon. He has since been picked up by another manager. I wouldn't knock a guy if you went this route. Reynolds likely frustrates the hell out of most.... I think I'd still be tempted to hold and trade him on a "up" week. You figure he is going to hit a streak, and then sell high. Still, I see you needs, and it seems like an upgrade for you. It is not like either player you are moving is not replaceable.
If I had a spot for Reynolds to sit adn heat up, I'd wait. If you need a piece and can get it, I'd do it.
Good luck.

It would be wonderful to get that cancer Reynolds off your team. Melacon is a definite upgrade over Jansen and adding Reynolds doesn't change much. Looks like a nice deal, and you really aren't risking much.

Melancon has little competition. This. Janson is a pretty good arm though, and the Dodgers are kinda in flux (i ended up pulling the trigger on Gurrerr for Fuentes this week). i look at alot of http://www.hardballtimes.com/main/fantasy/article/closer-watch/, but you have to read the update log between his weekly revisions.
