Pence for Brown-dynasty league WHIR

I've been offered D. Brown for H. Pence in my dynasty league.

My OF is Pence, McCutchen, Joyce, Stubbs, Beltran, Jennings, Harper.

What do you guys think about this? I know Pence has proven what he can do but what do you think about Brown's numbers?? I'm thinking the difference in lineups for those 2 teams sways me to accept the deal...or at the very least explore adding some other pieces to the deal to improve his side...

With your Of the way it is, I would stay put. Joyce may not keep up his current pace. McCutchen is just starting to get going, Stubbs and Beltran are doing good right now, but Beltran's knees could cost you later. Your last two, Jennings, may get called up later and Harper won't be arriving until 2012 at the earliest. Putting too much faith in Brown for me. You know what you're getting with Pence.

If you really want Brown, I would feel better about giving Joyce.........Not being able to hit lefties has kept him out of the line up...... And he hasn't showed this year anything different. As for the Beltran and Ichiro..... All you really got out of Ichiro is AVG and Steals. So, guess it would be based on needs for your team. Beltran stays healthy, I like him over Ichiro.

pence is a proven player so i wouldnt reach there, but if anything id sell on beltran if u can, hes always hurt and hes not bound to keep it up, if your really interested in brown, u have harper for ur future, you need some proven talent too

There is no way in hell I would trade Pence for Brown. Ever. MAYBE you could do Joyce but at this point I think you could even get a little more for Joyce. Sure, Brown has a pedigree but that really isn't worth much. If you had an open dynasty draft today, would you take Brown over Pence? I sincerely hope not. Would you take Brown over Joyce? Maybe, it depends on how much of a gambler you are.
