BTW, thanks for the response to my topic.
Young v. Roberts...Tough decision. Roberts and his flex is nice but at 33 and concussion does concern me. Young, lost 30 LB's and looked great this spring, but was doing nothing. The new Target Field is brutal for hitters, he somehow did well but no one else did. Example, Morneau hit 18 Hr's last yr before the concussion and only 4 where at home. I am a season ticket holder and the ball simply doesn't leave the park in the gaps. Dead pulls go all else stays in the park.
Now the shit that bothers me about Young, 3 days before he went on the DL he bitched to Gardy that it was too cold to play and wanted out of the lineup. He said it 3 times and then he went on the DL, odd coincidence. The thing is, Gardy does not put up with that kind of crap, period. So I don't know if it blew over or maybe he is going to be on the block to be traded or benched if he doesn't produce NOW.
Gun to my head, I hope the lighter, younger player who should produce is who I keep, only because concussions are a scary new injury that is being scrutinized very closely and GM's are simply not allowing players to come back until fully recovered.
Last thought, do you need SB's? Delmon will not get more than 5 all yr.
Delmon in a coin toss.
