Too much for Beltre?? WHIR!!

Postby BiGAnT » Mon May 23, 2011 4:16 pm

Would I be giving up too much for Beltre in this trade? My Lowrie (who I do not need, he sits on my bench), McGehee, and Carpenter (who looks like he may not have it anymore) for Beltre. The reason I would be doing this is because I desperately need HRs and RBIs...(standard 5x5, 12-team ROTO league).
Also, should I pick up Yadier in place of Iannetta?? (Soto is on the DL).

Thanks guys! ;-D

If this was proposed to you, you take it. If you're thinking about offering this, I doubt the other team accepts. If they were looking for pitching help, Carpenter isn't going to give it to them. And McGehee has been pretty much absent this year.

McGehee and Lowrie are WW replacements that help out in an injury crunch. Neither is a difference maker. Carpenter is replaceable. Jump all aboard Adrian Beltre who is far and away the best player in this trade. While he might continue to struggle with average, he is still a lock for 30+HR and 105+RBI. Always take the best player in a deal, even in a 3-for-1.

Help with mine, please:

Yeah, I think you are overpaying, but not giving up anyone that will truly hurt if you can deal with possibly some ribbing for overpaying, then go ahead and do it. And enjoy getting the last laugh

help back?
