I need to improve my hitting. 6x6 league standard categories. My pitching has been very strong but my hitting has been pretty bad so far. Here's my roster.
C Jonathan Lucroy
1B Eric Hosmer
2B Gordon Beckham
3B Casey McGehee
SS Hanley Ramirez
OF Andre Ethier
OF Curtis Granderson
OF Nick Swisher
UTIL Nelson Cruz
UTIL Domonic Brown
Bench Logan Morrison
DL Geovany Soto
DL Ike Davis
P Michael Pineda
SP CC Sabathia
SP Chris Carpenter
SP Roy Oswalt
SP Derek Lowe
SP Bud Norris
RP Francisco Rodriguez
RP Kyle Farnsworth
Bench Jair Jurrjens
Bench Ervin Santana
Bench Mark Buehrle
Bench Zach Britton
Bench Homer Bailey
DL Phil Hughes
I'm hesitant to give up Jurrjens but think Votto would be a big help. Should I pull the trigger? Thanks.

Assuming the other guy would accept this, I'd pull the trigger immediately! This is a great deal! Votto is a top 10 talent.

His offer. He needs pitching and offered me either this deal or Britton and Pineada. Don't want to trade both of those guys. It's a keeper league.

I would take this deal in a heartbeat, but would not be surprised if it did not get a league VETO...

Like everyone else has said, pull the trigger. You're getting a top talent batter here.
Help?

I think you're dreaming if you think the other guy is going to go for this.

Jurrjens and Lowe for Votto? Really?
In ANY competitive league, this trade gets vetoed, and immediately vetoed.
You are talking about the reining NL MVP, and a clear-cut top 5 hitter in baseball. Lowe is barely above avg in fantasy(his numbers will easily get worse as the year progresses) and Jurrjens is a solid(but not great) option who has upside but is also a huge injury rick (he wasn't even drafted in some leagues.)
I'm guessing you are in a league that is less competitive, but hit accept immediately and hope nobody makes a stir about it.
