The 300 win club is an elite club. Only a couple of above average players have snuck in due to longevity. Jamie Moyer would be hands down the worst player in the club and it would almost be a shame if he got in. Durability is a big part of it, but it's not like bad pitchers are pitching until they are 50 to get 300 wins. In almost every case they were one of the greats of the era. The problem is that I don't think we've had an elite pitcher in baseball since Maddux and RJ. There have been a lot of pitchers that have been great for awhile, but not a face of the era pitcher. If you ask for the best pitcher of the past 15 years, you'd probably get a dozen different answers from unbiased fans. Is that part of a changed game? Could be.

I saw somewhere that if Kershaw could average 15 wins for close to 2 decades he'd have a shot but don't quote me on that....it'd be nice to see a list of those guys that have a real shot at 300 wins...

If I can average 15 wins for the next 19-20 years, there is a possibility of me hitting 300.

You're making this sound as improbable as hitting 3 HR's in one game. B-)
