I have been offered this and I am not too sure what I should do.
I give: Miggy Cabrera and Anabel Sanchez
I get: Carl Crawford and CC Sabathia
I am in a standard 5x5 ESPN re-draft 10 team league. I have amassed a pretty, well really good, offensive line-up. I am WAY ahead in Runs and RBIs and am getting 9 points in Average. I am only get between 5-6 points in steals and I am hoping to be able to run the table with the offensive catagories. I want to get 50 points. Does this move help me get there? I know that Crawford only has 6 steals, but is it right to assume that he could still get to 40 with a little more than 4 months to go? I am just worried about him hitting in the 8th spot.
Here is my roster:
C: Y. Molina (Mauer on DL)
1B: Adrian Gonzalez
2B: Cano
SS: Andrus
3B: A-Rod
2B/SS: Phillips
1B/3B: Youk
OF: Granderson
OF: J.Upton
OF: Ethier
OF: Kubel
Util: Miggy Cabrera
Util: Carlos Pena
Bench: Dominic Brown, Coco Crisp and Swisher
Starters: Oswalt, Gio Gonzalez, Anabel Sanchez, Loshe, Garza and De La Rosa
Thoughts???

I would do this trade.
This is the kind of trade that wins roto leagues...you are giving up a good player, but Cabrera can't gain you points if you are already leading the power categories.....Plus CC is an upgrade over Anibel

if you're wanting steals, you might try trading for Ellsbury rather then Crawford and you probably wouldn't have to give up Cabrera to get him if you packaged him with a good pitcher and decent position player. I'm thinking Ellsbury is going to better Crawford in pretty much all the cats, and you wouldn't have to give up first round talent to get him.

Tried for Ellsbury first and the guy did not want to part with him. I agree that I think Ellsbury will have a better stolen base total then Crawford this year.
Here are my stats for Runs/HR/RBI and then the person below me. I am close with HRs but I think I have a decent lead in Runs/RBIs
Runs: 361 the next guy has 317 = 44 Run lead
RBIs: 349 the next guy has 306 = 43 RBI lead

It's a long season......... Leads can change FAST! You would easily lose this lead in RBI's alone from trading Cabrera..... And that's only one player.
