UPDATED: Trading Beltre for a pitcher... - WHIR

We're in a 7 team points league, no keeper. The points favor hitters with high RBI's and high multi-base hits ratio. Pitchers' wins are worth 10pts, K's worth 1pt so a high K's low ERA pitcher on a good team can make a big difference.

Here's my team:

C, M Montero
1, MCab
2, Pedroia
3, Beltre
SS, Rollins
OF, Bautista
OF, Choo
OF, Bruce
Utility: Konerko
BN, Crawford
DL, Victorino
DL, Zimmerman

SP: Weaver, Ubaldo, Garcia, Nolasco, Chacin, Dan Hudson, Morrow
RP: Marmol, Feliz, Street, Madson

My target trade is to improve my pitching and to use Beltre as bait. I can use Bautista at 3rd while waiting for Zimmerman to return. The guy I want to trade with has McGehee at 3B and is interested in Beltre.

His pitching rotation:
SP: Scherzer, Beckett, Sanchez, Liriano, Greinke, Buccholz
RP: Brian Wilson, Nunez, Cordero, Capps

UPDATE:

I've proposed Beltre + Madson + Morrow for Brian Wilson + Scherzer.

Got rejected flat...

Any ideas will be appreciated...

what do u think of that same idea but u trade bruce and zimmerman beltre is gonna be a beast this year hes gonna get even better when nelson and hamilton get back into the lineup and the people who have the ability to use jose bats in the outfeild are using him in his most value position alot of 3rd baseman go crazy not like him but put up big numbers no outfeilders except braun hamilton and cargo can put up numbers like him in the outfeild

Sorry I just added Utility. I forgot about that.

Thanks for your input. I don't want to make too many changes and my league puts very low value on players like Choo and Bruce. They love power hitters.

Yes, pitching is not so bad but this is only a 7 team league so everyone has good pitching team and mine is among the worst, believe it or not.

I'm lagging behind on pitching so would like to stick to a pitcher trade for one of my outfielders. Beltre has highest value right now that I'm willing to let go.

You've just about convinced me to keep Beltre, haha.

Unfortunately Bruce doesn't have enough track record for a trade that will land me a solid pitcher. Choo is a buy-low candidate and no one will give up a solid pitcher for him either.

I'll probably just sit tight for now as I have Victorino and Zimmerman on DL and I need the roster.

In 2 weeks I'll be in a trouble with too many OF's though... and when Zimmerman comes back my squad is going to be riped for trade proposals because everyone knows I have a hole in my pitching rotation and excess outfielders.
