First off just wondering what you think about the line up, where its good, or where i need to improve. My thoughts are that i could improve on middle infield, and than corner infield. There is no one really too worthy to pick up on the free agent wire. My thoughts are maybe trade away Victor Martinez to upgrade one of those positions. To me it seems a good idea, that way i can move lance berkman to the DH spot, and that makes room for Nelson cruz when he gets back, and chris young is not doing any good sitting on the bench. Or maybe try to trade Alex Avila and move Victor to catcher, i just don't know if i can really get that much for him....

You have a lot of hitters, more than you need really....so i would make a trade for a pitcher

You could probably get a real nice pitcher, for a Gaby Sanchez/victor martinez deal....you lose very little production in trading these two players

Also, you could use some middle infield help and there are a lot of options here, aviles isn't getting it done.

Jason Bourgeois might be a good add/DL stash for you especially if he comes back and gains 2b eligibility
If Allan Craig gains second base eligibiliy he could help you out too
Jared Lowrie might get called up soon as well

I like these three guys stashed on your bench/dl alot more than Aviles

yeah aviles really isn't doing much. i'm trying to get a good MI right now. I have a good staff, but your right i really won't lose a lot if i trade some people and a solid pitcher always helps them team.
