Ignoring the possible limits, he has shown maturity and valuable skills that are worth owning for the remainder of the season. The opportunity to trade him might not come about in a savvy league, so consider him your new 4th OF or Utility. This has given me the luxury of shopping a more proven commodity, hopefully for a bigger haul.
I'm determined to make this Joyce thing work for me

I think this is a very realistic assessment. The best way to approach Joyce is to treat him as "found money," without making a deal that trades away a bigger name, forcing you to rely on Joyce's current production levels.

This is because Maddon thinks he will mess with Joyce's swing and confidence by playing him against lefties because he loves his matchups. Time to let Joyce play everyday. He will have his up and downs against lefties, but he deserves to play everyday regardless of the pitcher and I still think he puts up solid numbers.

Holy crap dee, good to see you around man!
Agreed about the everyday play being the next logical step - I think fantasy and reality fans would take a dip in BA for full time play and everything that comes with it, right?

in a daily league, I dont play him vs lefties, so I dont care whether he plays or not, Id actually prefer him not, cause it might frustrate him.
