A.Cab for Chacin - Keeper league WHIR

I'm in a 12 team roto keeper league. Standard settings.

We keep 5 players and 1 MUST be a pitcher. My keeper pitcher options are a little on the questionable side: Hellickson, Kennedy, Liriano, Garza. So I'm looking for a better (or perhaps just another) option.

I have Asdrubal Cabrera and S. Drew at SS and we have no MI option, so it's hard to play them both without using one at DH. I also have Lowrie as back-up at SS, though I'm currently using him at 3b.

I can trade Cabrera for Chacin. Do I do it? I currently don't plan on keeping him, though he's caetainly making a case for it.

I like that deal for you given your situation. I've watched nearly every pitch Chacin has thrown this season, and he can be flat out nasty much of the time. He does have some trouble walking people on occasion, but in my mind he's progressed nicely this season and should be in line for a very good year.

Thanks. Interestingly enough, they're ranked back-to-back on ESPN's top 250 for the rest of the season....just looked it up.

Selling high on Cabrera, (even with his 5 for 5 day today) I like it......Chacin is nasty, soon he (if not already) pass the bum U-baldo as the ACE of there staff.
