Dynasty help....Trade Beltre?

I took over an abandoned team last season in a 10 team dynasty. I finished 2nd to last. This year, I'm on the same path. I'm new to Dynasty Leagues and fantasy baseball in general. So, I'm looking for some help on what I should do with my team. Who should I keep, trade, or just cut?

Personally, I was thinking of trading extremely high on Beltre and get a good package of minor leaguers and young MLBers. And play Hosmer every day at the 1B/3B position

Gotta make some trades and get younger at a few spots. I would test the trade market and see if I could get buyers on Kuroda or Scott Baker. Kuroda is young in service time but he's 36 in a keeper. Baker is having a good year but is oft injured. Names of 'under-performing' younger SPs I'd look at are Daniel Hudson, J. Zimmermann, Bud Norris, Matt Garza, etc.

I'd also try to sell those RPs. Doubtful you're going to compete in saves with only two closers and conversely I don't think you're gonna go out of your way to acquire saves via trade. Not to mention that both of these guys are older options. If you can sell them for a good haul, do it.

What about Beltre? Keep him or try and get a young package for him?

What positions should I really focus on?

All depends on the package you can get for Beltre. 3B is pretty shallow so if you cant net a fine return for Beltre I wouldn't mind riding with him. Improve the pitching staff, solidify your MI and OF.
