N.Cruz/Rajai Davis/Hanson for CarGo/Bourn/Francisco? WHIR!

Mixed 6x6 keeper (OBP the extra batting category). I'm tops in most if not all offensive cats -- Bautista, Votto, Tex, Kemp, Cruz, Weeks my core studs -- and in 2nd place overall while essentially punting starters by having all closers (Axford, League, Salas, Santos, Walden, Melancon)/and a middle guy (Mike Adams). My starters are Hanson and de la Rosa. So, I'm essentially punting K/wins for saves/WHIP/ERA.

Was just offered CarGo & Bourn for Nelson Cruz, Rajai Davis & Tommy Hanson. Now, on paper this favors the other guy but if he throws in a closer (his best are Francisco or Fuentes), I think Cargo/Bourn top Cruz/Davis rest of year, esp. in steals, runs...and CarGo has got to turn the power on, I'd think. And Cruz is always more of a stumble away from the DL than most players.

So bottom line, you think Cargo/Bourn/Francisco is worth my losing Cruz/Rajai/Hanson?

I wouldnt do the deal as is. I dont like Bourn due to lack of power. If your tops in hitting, I'd stick with hanson.

If you can get him to throw in Francisco I'd say go for it. Nelson Cruz looks to be struggling more than Cargo and I still expect Cargo to be better than Cruz. That said I think it is pretty much the same for Bourn over Davis. Davis could have a decent year but the guys your receiving fit your game plan.

I like it for you. You definitely upgrade your OF and solidify a keeper in the process. I like Hanson but he doesn't really fit into your plans as you're punting there anyway. Good value here IMO.

Agree with the group here, good trade for you given your game plan, assuming that Francisco comes along for the ride.
