Zobrist, Ethier, for Prince, Pence WHIR

Postby Forging Genius » Sun May 22, 2011 12:16 pm

League is H2H, Keeper, 2 util spots. Catagories are R,H,2B,HR,RBI,SB,BB,AVG,OPS,W,SV,BB,K,HLD,ERA, WHIP, K/9, QS.

I have been winning every hitting category except HR and RBI, where i am struggling.

I want to build a deal around Zobrist, since the other guy wants him, I can afford to send Ethier also.

I'm thinking of offering Zobrist, Ethier and Josh Tomlin for Fielder and Pence/Ichiro.
Ethier can be kept in the 5th round next year, Zobrist in the 4th. Prince, Ichiro, and Pence can't be kept.

Do you think he will do this? Should I take Ichiro or Pence? What else do I need to add to the trade?

He wouldn't Prince, would. I'm not sure if I could get Pence, would obviously rather have him than Ichiro, who would help steals, hits and AVG.

I think it's fair. My gut says to include Pence in the offer and see what he comes back with, but maybe you're right that that's pushing too hard. Zobrist is playing great though, and with position scarcity and the fact that you know this owner wants him, why not push hard at first? If you end up with Ichiro and Prince for Zobrist and Ethier, you're still looking good. And the other owner gets some good young talent with keeper potential.

prince is the golden goose here you need for HR/RBI, and you get him. go for pence, but be happy with ichiro who's a bit undervalued right now.

see mine? thanks. viewtopic.php?t=431291
