Reyes might be a 1st rounder again if he keeps this up.......Pitching is a dime a dozen this year....I would take this in a second.

That's a tough one, it comes down to whether or not your scoring favors hitters or pitchers more. If they're equal, do it, good hitters are worth more and pitching can be found. Answer mine?

Pull the trigger. Reyes is playing for a contract and is a big upgrade over Aybar. Weaver's value was high after his first 5 starts, but is not pitching the same way.
Let's go Oliver Perez and his METS!

If I have to throw in Rasmus along with Weaver is it still worth it?

Straight up I think it's a great deal for you. Throwing in Rasmus is too much...takes too much away from your OF and your reserves don't cut it. 1 for 1 is the only way to go.

I suppose the tilt of your scoring system could also be considered. Does this seem like a hitter-favored league? Pitcher? In general, I think getting the elite hitter is always a better option, especially when they come in a weak position like SS. Your staff will survive, and I think you'll still have the opportunity to upgrade it later in the season based on general starter depth alone.
