Hosmer....he's the one actually in the big's and hitting well right now. Brown's purely hypothetical. You can't argue against Hosmer's early success.
Of course, keep an eye on Brown now that he just got called up.
help with mine?

I'm in an 8 team 5x5 head to head league. I've had Hosmer twice and dropped him because playing him full time in a utility spot means benching Jeter or A-Ram and that's tough. I have 3 guys eligible to play 1B (Votto, Young & Kendrick) and 4 guys eligible to play OF (Braun, Holliday, Bruce & Cruz). I was leaning towards Brown only for OF depth incase Cruz remains injured or Braun's shoulder acts up more.

how you say in the anglais? a rookie is a rookie is a rookie....
that said, KC supposedly has a plan in place whereby they actually want to win...You saw Duffy throwing earlier in the week and he's a piece of their puzzle too. Hosmer, i've heard compared to an early Billy Butler and so far that doesn't seem far off (i own him in a public league where i can experiment with things before bringing them to my "real" leagues).
I would personally take neither and look for someone with some proven value going forward...it's only a quarter over!
