Do you think it would still be fair if I thew in Contreras to get his attention? (he has only 1 closer). The reason why I'd do this is because I do not believe that Contreras will get the closers job back - So in this case it would be:

If you think that will make a difference in his eyes then go for it, I agree that Contreras is likely out of the picture for saves with how well Madson has been throwing the ball.
