Injury Bug hit my team hard help! WHIR

So I have Joe Mauer, Adam Lind, and Grady Sizemore on the DL, but I only have one slot. Lance Berkman and Carlos Gonzalez are day to day. Needless to to say my offense took a hit.

Should I drop a guy like Edwin Jackson to get another hitter in the mix for now or hold out? For instance I could add 2B Justin Turner and play Zobrist in the OF or I could add Ryan Ludwick to my OF. Other free agents of value are OF Matt Joyce, OF Brennan Boesch, UT Travis Hafner, UT David Ortiz, 2B/3B/OF Ryan Roberts, OF Coco Crisp, OF Jason Kubel, OF Seth Smith.

Right now I'm forced to start Guerrero and Gordon in the OF and Alvarez at 3B. Yuck.

Side note I'd love to add Salas somehow.

Yeah in an 8-team league I think you can drop a guy off the back end of your rotation without giving up much. Not sure how many teams make your playoffs (assuming playoffs in HTH), but if you have massive holes in offense for a few weeks even that might potentially put you on the outside looking in. However I would drop more than a couple of the guys at the end, since if you do have playoffs then remember the league is set up to reward the best team at the end of the season.

Oh and right now I'd rather have Salas (I think he sticks, though I missed out on him in my keeper) than Edwin Jackson.
