I dont think his success can be sustained. Not only are his LOB and BABIP %'s ridiculously out of whack, but
I dont trust any pitcher whos average fastball sits at 86 mph.

knew Marcum didnt light up the gun, but i had no idea his fastball sat at only 87 mph. and hes on my team...
one of the slowest for any qualified pitcher.
actuall now that i look closer, only 5 pitchers total in all of MLB have a slower avg fastball than his 86.8mph heater - Livan, Dickey, Francis, Beurlhe, Arroyo. pretty amazing that hes so successful.
