Today's Games - Today's (ugh) Weather - Bullpen Report

Someone should start a list
Giambi brought us back a few years with a 3 HR game in Philadelphia. He went 3-5 with 3 HRs and 7 RBIs. HIs first bomb went into the first row of the second deck in right field at Citizen's Bank Park. Giambi had a chance at 4 straight home runs, but he struck out looking.
Sell High!
Mike Axisa: To his credit, Hawpe has turned it around after that awful start, and is hitting .353/.413/.529 in the 19 games since. He’s cut his whiff rate down to a much more tolerable 16 K in 75 PA and started to be more accepting of ball four. A third of his hits have gone for extra bases in that time, including two over the fence, and his line drive rate has risen while the number of fly balls and grounders declined
Sell High!
Justin Morneau went 3-for-5 with a two-run homer and a double Thursday versus the A's
Dodgers suck
Madison Bumgarner finally notched his first win by limiting the Dodgers to one run in 8 2/3 innings on Thursday
the friars win ugly
In his first game back from the DL, Orlando Hudson delivered a sac fly in the bottom of the ninth Thursday to give the Padres a 1-0 win over the Brewers. Aaron Harang blanked the Brewers for eight innings
i have an anonymous source that can confirm to me, that at least 53 different roto players actually shit their pants.
Ryan Braun was pulled from Thursday's game against the Padres with a sore left shoulder
so underrated
Nick Swisher drove in four of the Yankees' 13 runs in Thursday's blowout win over the Orioles
i have an anonymous source that can confirm to me, that the Aussie likes being right.
Matt LaPorta went 2-for-3 with a single and solo home run in Thursday's loss to the White Sox
Chit!!
Shane Victorino is likely to be placed on the disabled list Friday with a hamstring injury
general manager Ruben Amaro Jr. said the team likely will not call up OF Domonic Brown if they place OF Shane Victorino (hamstring) on the 15.day disabled list.
Howard Kendrick (hamstring) left the team's game Thursday, May 19, in the ninth inning because of tightness in his left hamstring. Kendrick does not think it is serious and is optimistic that he will be back soon.
Carlos Gonzalez (groin) left the game early Thursday, May 19, because of tightness in his left groin.

Happy Halladay. Though I doubt he'll get the W with the "fabulous" run support by the Phillies offense. :-°

I'm going to bench Howard and start Hosmer so Howard can go 4/4 with 3 dingers to provide some run support for Halladay. :-D
