Personally sitting Chacin against the Phils. He's been prone to the occasional hiccup inning when his control goes on him and I want no part of that tonight.
Philly isn't the scary offense they used to be. They're still one of the Top 10 offenses in the league, but barely (Baseball Monster has them 8th so far this year).
im sittin Chacin in H2H as well. which means he'll go 8 IP of 2 hit ball.
but i currently have a 1.22 era, 0.95 WHIP, 28 K, and 4 W's through my first 5 starts/33 innings. And for the rest of the week i get to choose from: Halladay v Tex Latos v Sea Bailey @ Clev Marcum v Col Pineda @ SD D. Hudson v Min Garcia @ KC so im in good shape to sweep the pitching cats
Two bombs for Jay bruce today bringing him up to 10 for the year.
hit them both off of a righty (which he's usually way better against) so, not alot to see here other than just a good day. but, it's just nice to draft him hoping for 35 hrs and see him on pace for about 35 hrs..

As we've learned lately, oblique injuries can sideline players for weeks at a time, so the A's might be dealing with an extended absence here. It's too bad, as Ross had allowed two runs or less in each of his last four starts.

So being in Oakland by the ocean, is it safe to say the he's, "Beached"?
