I have all three of those in my main money league. Hoping for some Ws, I've been pulling the short straw lately, most recently with Jaime Garcia getting a ND after 8 IP/0 ER last night. Cain is allergic to run support so I'm not holding my breath for him.

Just throwing Bud tonight but watching Teheran as the free game on ESPN.com and interested in Duffy's start as well.

Buster Olney:
"Thome=Killebrew: Lots of homers, lots of walks, lots of strikeouts, relatively modest (compared to other stars) batting average. Very similar"

"And Thome=KIllebrew in this regard, too -- both men modest, gregarious, deeply respected, well-liked."

Bye Bye Galarraga :-D
The Arizona Diamondbacks designated right-hander Armando Galarraga for assignment Tuesday night after the team's 6-1 victory over the San Diego Padres.

Galarraga, acquired by the Diamondbacks from Detroit in January for a pair of prospects, was 3-4 with a 5.91 ERA in eight starts for Arizona. He had lost four straight games, including the club's 8-4 loss to San Diego on Monday. He had allowed 13 home runs in 42 2/3 innings this season.

Also according Towers, Bloomquist will be back today (i think).

I'm pumped about the Duffy start. Hopefully he comes out quietly so I can add him before my other league mates do.

fail!

Jerry Sands and Jay Gibbons are now part of a platoon in left field. Gibbons will start the majority of games when the team faces a right-handed pitcher and Sands will start mostly against lefties

Hey wrveres (or anyone else), what's the word on Kyle Blanks? Are we going to see his handsome face at Petco anytime soon?
