I would rather have someone other than Soriano, then again Carlos Lee kinda sucks right now.
really tough losing Kemp. Cliff Lee is good, but I don't think he is top tier elite like Kemp. I don't think Cliff Lee is as good as he was early last season with Seattle. it would help to get Lee for your pitching. if you have to give up Kemp it would be nice to get someone other than Sorinao in a trade. OF is easier to replace a player. you have Adam Jones on your bench and he deserves to be starting. be nice to get an upgrade at a different position like C or 3B. I say maybe try and replace Soriano with someone else.

Thanks for your help on mine! Yes, I would agree with the above poster... since this is a keeper league, keep Kemp.

Being in a keeper league, I'd keep Kemp. Since Kemp is basically for Lee, and Carlos Lee for Soriano, you're basically accepting a slighty better throwaway for a slightly worse keeper. It *may* help you this year if you really need the help. But, you'd be sacrificing the future to an extent. So, if you're willing to take the hit in the future for some help this year, go for it. Otherwise, stand pat if you want to keep the best player in the deal.

Thanks for the help on mine. ;-D

I understand what you Kemp supporters are saying and mostly agree. But, did you guys look at the point differential between pitchers and hitters? Doesnt that make Lee more valuable? I can't ask for someone other than Soriano because no one on his team fits a salary on my team. Any more thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hey man, thanks for the help on mine

while i do see what you're saying in the point differentials between hitters and pitchers, i think the choice is just barely going to be kemp. Cliff in theory could rack up a ton of points, however he hasn't shown to be a pitching machine like his teammate Roy. Matt Kemp just appears to be having an up year after a rough 2010 season and looks to be the far safer and better choice in the long run

Matt Kemp > Cliff Lee. I've always thought Cliff Lee was overrated and it's starting to come to bear this year, even tho he still has some nice K performances, really, I don't think he's a supermegauberOMFG pitcher, he's just kind of pretty good and he'll end up with an era between 3.50-4.0 and ~13+ wins and nice K totals, but he's not an elite player like matt kemp, that's for damn sure.

Just pretty good? Over 10K/9. I believe the best K/BB ratio in bb.
His xFIP is 2.48. Very unlucky babip so far.

Yes, Lee is very valuable in this format. But i still can't trade a MVP in his peak years for him.
