He only has 1B eligibility in ESPN, which really limits his value. If I could throw him in my OF, I would, but a .800 OPS guy who isn't going to really be more than average in any standard category just doesn't get me all wet.

I could definitely use his bat, but with injuries to Zimmerman (on my DL), Soto, and now Beachy... And only 1 DL spot, it looks like LaPorta will have to wait in the FA pool for me. It is good to see him finally coming around tho.

I would love to pick him up but I already have Morrison, Smoak, Joyce, Hafner and Swisher occupying 2OF/2UT/1BN spot.

I picked him up in place of my streamer since I can't outstream my opponent this week anyway. But I'm going to need another pitcher next week.

Ironically he's out of the lineup today but luckily I could sub Smoak in.

What are some thoughts on LaPorta vs. Moreland as far as 1B/OF players go? Thus far this season they have put up very similar lines, though LaPorta has a longer pedigree and had a bit more hype in the past. I'd also like to know how folks feel about these two and Helton/Berkman (two aging 1Bs).

I've got Morales out for the season in a keeper and both LaPorta and Moreland are on the FA (I have Berkman at 1B and Helton at IF). Any thoughts?
