I literally had to look up who was playing 3B for the White Sox. Too bad McPherson won't get a chance to play or I would take a flyer. Speaking of taking a flyer, Eric Thames has been called up.
I wonder how many people saw that Brian McCann was not starting today and took him out of their lineup. lucky I didn't. 2 HR off the bench today. last weekend I knew McCann would not start Saturday during the day after a night game and having an open roster spot I picked up Ross. knew there was going to be a day game today but didn't have an open roster spot today. good for me. however I also did not start Wandy Rodriguez today. he usually pitches a lot better at home than on the road, so my plan for him this season was only start him at home. missed out on 8 shut out innings. #ohwell
I guess the one bright spot of the Twins being the worst team in baseball is that it won't be long before I won't have to be shoulder to shoulder with some dude at Target Field.
