I'm in a 18 team league - H2H - standard 5x5 catagories (regular draft - non keeper), lots of pitchers per team

Here's my team -

C - Posada, NYY
1B - Teixeira, Tx
2b - Giles, Atl
3b - Rolen, StL
SS - Crosby, Oak
OF - Vlad, Ana
OF - Ordeonez, ChW
OF - Crawford, TB
Util - Byrd, Phil
Bn - Matsui, NyM
Bn - LeCroy, MN

SP - Oswalt, Hou
SP - Beckett, Fl
SP - Milton, Phil
SP - J Williams, SF
SP - D Davis, Mil
RP - Rhodes, Oak
RP - Izzy, StL
RP - Contreras, NyY
P - Silva, Mn
Bn - Harang, Cin
Bn - Armas, Mtl
Bn - C Lee, Clev

With 18 teams pickings are slim on waivers. Saves may be weak but it's head to head.

Opinions on the team?

Here are some people available I could pick up -

Hitters - Higginson, Hairston Jr, P Feliz, Castro
Pitchers - O Moreno, C Cordero, Vargas, Z Day, M Riley, R Harden, J Lieber

Thanks!! :-]

I think you've got a pretty good team for an 18 team league...I would never expect such a turnout with that many teams. You can try and trade up for a closer. You can gamble with Matsui in a package with someone else for a closer. Matsui's value seems to be rising...but he's still a wild card without playing time under his belt. Or stick with him and see if someone else will gamble with Crosby. You'll definitely have to package Crosby with a stronger outfielder or pitcher for a great closer.

First thing I would do without even thinking would be to drop Armas and pick up either Cordero or Riley...and then think about picking up the other and dropping Davis.
