Is this a big upgrade?

I get Victor Martinez and Brett Myers, I give Ryan Dempster and Alex Rios.

I currently have Napoli at catcher. In the outfield I always play Ellsbury and Bruce and I rotate Rios, Lind, and Guerrero in my 3rd OF spot and as DH. I also have Raj Davis. Though I don't like losing Rios, I am not concerned about losing the speed since I am currently 1st in SB due to Ellsbury and haveing Reyes at SS.

My pitching staff is: Kershaw, C Lews, Romero, Dempster (who I start every week). Then I start 2 closers, which leaves me starting one of Zimmerman, DeLaRosa, E Santana, or Beachy (now broken).

Is upgrading to V-Mart worth the cost?

Tough one but I think I do it. WW can always help with OF or a hot starting P (i.e. Joyce, coghlan, Brantley) Vmart is on fire...

This deal would have seemed pretty good during the last week of spring training. Right now, it's gold. Whoever is offering the deal is looking at how well Rios is coming along over the last 10 games or so. That's all well and good, ...but you can part with the speed and the marginal power. Pull the trigger and pray that Vic stays healthy. Dempster/Myers, ....not a huge difference.
