Albert Pujols 3rd Base watch

Now with 1 start, two games played. Most leagues are 5 games started, 10 played. What are the odds he gets there?

I still think there is only a very slim chance this will happen. Best case scenario, Berkman pulls a hammy in June, and when he returns, they conservatively incorporate him at 1B..pushing Albert occassionally to the hot corner.

But with the status quo, I really doubt he'll get the 10 appearences, or 4 more starts at third..

I'll say 7% chance.

If it does happen though...wow.
Why don't they just get a house that's already painted?

Yeah, especially since I've got Wright on the bench with a stress fracture/possible DL and pushing old man Rolen into my 3B slot. Slotting Pujols into that hot corner would be sweeeet.

Yeah I think this would be quite an upgrade over Brent Freakin Morel.

YES MY PLAN FOR 2011 IS FALLING INTO PLACE!

1. Collect 1Bs (Moreland, LaPorta, I.Davis, Pujols)
2. Scratch nads
3. ???????
4. Profit!

with LaRussa, nothing would surprise me.

Freese will be out for a while longer. I would not be shocked to see Albert accrue the necessary starts as long as he doesn't begin looking silly over there. It gives LaRussa even more chances to make weird lineups and he can't pass that up.

Next up: Berkman at 2nd.
When you are a man, sometimes you wear stretchy pants in your room...is for fun.

I took a risk in my money league this year by drafting Pujols, Tex and Prince with my first three picks. If Pujols becomes 3B eligible, it will be a massive boost to my team's chances.
