I have Logan Morrison on my DL and a struggling Jose Tabata taking up a roster spot and Utley coming back in a few weeks. Why haven't the Jays put Lind on the DL?!? How can I make room for any of the crazy-good pitchers from the waiver wire like Dempster, Sanchez, Daniel Hudson or Homer Bailey? Should I pick up Mike Stanton, Mitch Moreland or Justin Smoak?
One thought...this is a keeper league and I can protect Pineda but drop him from my roster. Thought about picking up one of the pitchers and keeping Pineda protected until I see how he pans out this season, but I'm not sure if those other guys are pitching better than Pineda right now or not. Colby Lewis is a potential drop candidate too if his next start is rough...too many good pitchers this year.
Thoughts?

I like Anibal Sanchez more than Colby Lewis. I drafted Lewis and dropped him a couple weeks into the season (for Jaime Garcia). I don't think Dempster is worth picking up and Homer Bailey is fairly new to the bigs so his stats are most likely going to take a plunge at some point.
I like Anibal Sanchez because he plays for the better team. I also think you should pick up stanton. His second half stats last year were way better than his first 40 games or so. Definitely worth the small amount of risk.
Stanton is available because he's my keeper prospect and I haven't added him to my team yet this year. I knew he'd be there so I tried to roll with some other guys first. In my league, we have 3 prospects that can be protected until they hit some AB or GS minimums. Stanton isn't there yet. That's why I could protect Pineda and drop him from my active roster if I wanted. He would be protected and no other manager could pick him up.
Isn't Lind worth something? He was starting to get hot before his DL stint. Between Lind, Morrison and Tabata, I think I'd rather drop Tabata. Is that crazy?
I will drop Lewis, though I wonder if I could get something for Lewis and Lind. Maybe a Cain or Marcum?
Well, if I had your team, I would be dropping Tabata, Lewis, and Francisco. Why Tabata is in your starting line up and Ellsbury is benched, I have no idea. Pick up Stanton, now, Bailey, and activate Morrison.
Lol. Ok. Sorry, my team is doing unexpectedly well this year and I'm starting to over-think things. I was in last place last year so i didnt expect to do this well this fast (2nd place so far). But that's why I throw my crazy ideas out on this forum and not in my league.
