Time to deal Cargo? WHIR

Postby tlp2007 » Mon May 16, 2011 2:59 pm

I am in a 16 team H2H Keeper League. I can not keep Cargo past this year being that 1st round picks cant be kept.

I have been offered the likes of

Justin Upton, Alex Gordan and Craig Kimbrel for Cargo and Garland.

Looking for some help on if I should let him go or not.

I would absolutely pull the trigger on that deal.

Personally, I'd probably deal CarGo for J Upton straight-up right now. Adding Gordon + Kimbrel for Garland on top of that makes it a steal.

Since you can't keep Cargo, I would go ahead and do the deal because you getting a nice closer in Kimbrel and Gordon is doing well right now and then Upton is Upton.

Not knowing your roster, you would have to drop someone to make this deal. Cargo will heat up. I see Upton as fringe top 100. Gordon is falling back to earth now, over the past couple weeks or so his AVG has dropped over 60pts....... Kimbrel is a stud, closers show up every year though.

Yep, make the trade. I like it a lot. Kimbrel is a good closer when he is on, so if you need any help at RP, that is a biiiig bonus. And Gordon/Upton have been very solid. I think CarGo may have had a big of a fluke year last year. I don't think he puts up nearly as big of numbers this year.....

Thanks for mine
