Pick up Furcal? WHIR

He will be coming off the DL soon if everything goes well and my current backup SS is Ian Desmond. Should I drop him for Furcal?

Personally, I would play Desmond over Furcal. Furcal is the epitome of the kind of player who shows flashes of great play, and then lives off the reputation of that for several seasons after. He is old and breaking down. Go with the higher upside of Desmond.

I actually like Furcal. However he is old and regressing. He could very possibly end up on the DL again sometime during the season. Desmond should do fine but really I think it's a toss up between not so powerful lineups in dodgers and nationals.

I would just keep desmond..Furcal will go back out with an injury before you know it.
