Uggla/Vmart/Youk for Utley/Longoria/Marmol (WHIR)

I give Uggla/Vmart/Youk

I get Utley/Longoria/Marmol

Utley's supposed to return no later than june 1st so I'm trying to buy him.
This owner of Utley really wants to trade for my Vmart so I'm thinking about this trade.
The owner said he will also do Uggla/Vmart for Utley/Marmol but I don't really like this one.

Should I pull the trigger?

Oh and if I give Vmart, I will probably use my waiver to pick up Soto who was dropped two days ago.

If I miss him, I'll probably trade this guy for Montero who he'll no longer need.

Soto is on the 15-Day DL so I would look at the other Catchers on the waivers before pulling the trigger on this and banking on Soto...

I would rather have the Uggla/VMart/Youklis side of that deal, but it is quite close. You are banking on Utley's knee holding up. If it does, and he performs as he is capable of, the deal is a winner for you. But those are big "ifs."

I don't really like this trade for you at all. You are banking on a healthy Utley, and they are already saying that he's going to get a lot of days off to keep him healthy. Uggla will get it together and you know what your are getting with Youklis. You are also giving up Martinez to pick up a waiver catcher. I don't really see how this helps your team.

this was my thought as well. Sure Utley could come back and hit the ground running, but I think it's more likely that he won't be 100% for a little while or at all. I just think you're banking on Utley too much and I just don't think I'd trust him to be the Utley of years past
