Vin got Mazzaro'd 14 ER in 2.1 IP. I only see the stat line, not the game. was he that bad? why did the Royals leave him in to give up that many runs? I would think even half of that (7) he should have been pulled. not only did he give up 10 ER in ONE inning, but then he came back out for the next inning? clearly he sucked tonight, why have him go back out? I imagine they would have had time to warm up a new pitcher in the bullpen.

He came in for the third inning and they'd already gone through two pitchers. Davies only lasted 0.1 IP, then Adcock went 1.2. Mazzaro shut Cleveland out in the third, then his world fell apart in the 4th as Cleveland sent 14 men to the plate. He conceded one homer.
Why they sent the poor guy out for the fifth, God knows. He was hauled off after one more run but the 3 LOB all scored too.

Are you being sarcastic???? Using a clip of little league to make a point about MLB is a bit ridiculous. You know why they stick kids in the OF that can't field in little league??? Because no one can hit it that far.
Of course I'm being sarcastic, obviously a Pizza Hut commercial is not prrof that crappy fielders play in right. I was just having a little fun and I love that classic commercial.
