New to Fantasy - Struggling - WHIR

I am in a head to head 5x5 eight team league.

I am struggling to find strategy as I gave up good pitchers to get good hitters. My lineup is:

1B - Joey Votto
2B - Howie Kendrick
3B - Michael Young
SS - Hanley Ramirez
OF - Ryan Braun
OF - Matt Holliday
OF - Jay Bruce
UT - Aramis Ramirez
UT - Derek Jeter
BN - Eric Hosmer
DL - Nelson Cruz
DL - Joe Mauer

SP - Shaun Marcum
SP - Jair Jurrjens
P - Brandon Morrow
P - C.J. Wilson
P - Ian Kennedy
P - Michael Pineda
BP - Brian Wilson
BP - Craig Kimbrel
BP - Huston Street
BP - Ryan Madson
BP - Jonny Venters

I have been streaming and it's been killing me as the wins haven't come and only strikeouts have benefitted. I'm trying to figure out what changes to make for the long term. I'm considering dumping Hosmer and/or Venters and adding starters from Homer Bailey, Jeremy Hellickson, Kyle Lohse, Johnny Cueto, Ryan Vogelson, Justin Masterson and Daniel Hudson. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Your team isn't that bad, you've just had bad luck. If you're that concerned about your pitching trade one of you bats for a good starter that plays on a good team. Overall just stick with it. Your team's talent will prevail as the season goes on.

I'd drop Venters for Cueto

Your team isn't bad......I have had the same luck.

Drop Madson and pick up Hudson for sure. If your league counts era and whip, then play Venters each week instead of a starter.
