Time to give up on Raburn?? WHIR

Postby berrymyers » Sat May 14, 2011 4:03 pm

Team and league below...

I know he is a 2nd half guy but being forced to start him at LF is killing me. When Zimmerman gets back, I can shift Gordon back to LF but for now Raburn is killing my team.

Guys available...

R. Bernadina (LF, CF, RF)
Lance Nix (LF)
Chris Heisey (LF, CF, RF)
G. Parra (LF, RF)

Do I cut bait for one of these guys?? Or wait it out until the 2nd half when Raburn decides he likes to hit the ball...

I would not give up on him yet - does he qualify for 2B in your league/ His value is much higher in my league because of the 2b qualification. I know a few guys in my league had Rayburn tabbed as one of their major sleepers, and really want him, but the current owner wants him even more and refuses to trade him. You may be able to add him to a 2 for 1 trade and upgrade another position. I know a lot of people are still high on him (I am one of them), and would expect more in the coming months.

Check out my trade if you get a chance

I'd hang on to him. I don't see any of those available players are major leaps in value. I might be biased, too, because Raburn helped me win big last year at the end of the season. Thanks for your help on mine.
