Buy low on Crawford? (whir)

10 team, yahoo, 5x5, keeper (but for the purposes of the players in this trade the keeper element is irrelevant). I'm in first in SB right now but it's pretty close at the top so trading Bourn might hurt a bit. The only offensive category I'm suffering in is avg. I'm leaning towards doing the trade but would appreciate a second opinion.

With Lowrie on the bench and Zimmerman coming back eventually, I like the 2:1 deal here. You are trading gangster speed for an all-around guy, helping your average a ton(hopefully) and maximizing your roster spots. Nice looking deal.

Thanks for the help. I'd do this deal, as it looks like Crawford is finally coming around. However, I worry that you need AVG., and he just isn't hitting for AVG. now. But all evidence points to the fact that he will improve that greatly.

Crawford is an elite player.....at the end of the year he is going to play to the numbers on the back of his card......never pass up the chance to pick up this type of player for 2 second-tier players.

all im gonna say on this one is u buy craw dawg while u still can before its too late but make it chris young and try to keep bourne and try hanson or kurada with crawford bourne victorino your gonna be owning runs stolen bases obp triples craw and victo hit doubles with ease
