I really really like Britton for obvious reasons, and I was just offered this trade. Britton is a really good pitcher, but he will never be a strikeout pitcher and he plays in a hitters park (although he is a tremendous GB pitcher) on a team that may never be a powerhouse in its division. Bumgarner got off to a slow start but has turned it up lately, and is still just 21 years old...he is more of a K pitcher in the NL west facing much weaker competition.
I don't want to be short sighted and get blinded by the early success of Britton, am I crazy for not wanting to trade him for Bumgarner?

From what we have seen so far this season, I would take Britton. He's fighting with Pineda for AL rooking of the year IMHO. Bumgarner has not shown enough yet this year and I think his record fell to 0-6 today or something like that. Grab Britton if you can!
