LOL...Owner comment after big trade...

Today I got an owner in a 12 team money keeper league (where I have a 5-0 record currently) to agree to trade Prince Fielder, Robinson Cano, and Andrew McCutcheon to me for Lance Berkman, Brandon Phillips, Ichiro, Ricky Nolasco, and Leo Nunez. I am offsetting the loss in pitching by picking Latos up off waivers and moving Andrew Bailey into the lineup when he returns from injury. Obviously the deal is stacked in my favor (possibly even this year, but definitely in terms of future years), and one owner has already objected to the deal already.

The owner that I am trading with sent this gem my way in a pm: "If the trade doesn't go through as is (and 1 already rejected...) I'll throw in JJ Putz and a starter and resubmit to you... sound good?"

Amazing! Gotta love when an owner forms an odd attachment to a player, rankings and common sense be darned. Nicely done, and I hope it works out for you.
