Trade: Hunter Pence for Damon, Brian Roberts

I was proposed a trade where I'd give up Pence for Johnny Damon and Brian Roberts. I'm not really interested in that because I don't feel like I get enough value back in exchange for .300 avg and league leading RBIs.

But I was thinking I might counter offer Pence and Izturis for Aybar and Damon.

My thinking: Aybar has killer steals which are overvalued in our format, and Damon has some solid RBI and Runs totals with some steals added in.
Izturis is probably over valued right now with a really high BABIP...

I hate to give up so much RBI production, but winning steals every week sounds inriguing.

What do you guys think?

I would not do this as Pence is 27 (prime time) and Roberts is an injury waiting to happen and Damon was a FA like 3 weeks ago in fantasy and is old...Keep pence or make him give you a lot more.

We're not a keeper league (I forgot to mention that) so I don't know if that makes a difference.

How do you feel about Pence/Iszturis for Aybar/Damon?

Either way you aren't getting enough for Pence. Don't trade him for any of that crap.

Neither deal is enough value for Pence. Your potential counter offer might actually be worse then the original offer for your team.
