I was just offered his Tulo, Smoak and Morneau for my Miggy, Jeter and Walden. If I knew Morneau was healthy this would be a steal.

With Bailey coming back soon, you do have a surplus of closers, so Walden isn't a bad give up.

As a Tulo owner myself, it would take a great trade for me to give him up. Getting Smoak and Morneau for Miggy at least gives you two chances at having a good/very good 1B. Not on the level of Miggy obviously, but the upside of Tulo over Jeter is major.

I'd make the trade. If Morneau gets back to where he was in the next month or so, you have a good player to work another trade.

i think there is significant risk on your part. if your bets pan out that tulo (who is awesome) will stay get 500+ AB and Morneau (who is pretty awful) is going to come back. i really like that you're giving up Walden. you're giving up a sure thing in miggy (he's pretty much pujols). is there a reason to take on this risk?

otherwise, i like this deal. tulo is a stud and smoak is looking good.

I agree with the risk...Miggy is a lock, like Pujols to hit a ton...Tulo who I own alogn with miggy has potential to be just that as long as he does not miss time...

SS is a shallow position whereas 1B is not...I think you could definitely do yoruself good getting Tulo, though I am not sold on the other parts of the deal as of yet...If you could get more reliable additions with Tulo, then it would be worth doing...

I say you do it. Miggy is well awesome, but so is Tulo and a HUGE upgrade over Jeter. Morneau I feel will come on eventually and Smoak is very good. Overall you win this trade. Do it.
