Guy in my league is in need of offense, and I have plenty of OFs. Offered him my Hart for his Latos, he's hesitant as he's trying to suck me into giving him Quentin or Konerko for some kind of package. If Hart doesn't work who would you be willing to offer if you had my roster for Latos? Or is there a different offer you'd make again if you had my roster?
As always leave a link and I'll respond to your thread.

Ok he countered with this trade: I give - Konerko/R.Davis I get - Latos/Gardner/Hosmer
I don't think this is a good trade for me at all, based on the fact that as good a prospect as Hosmer might be he's still a rookie. Davis = Gardner so that's a wash, basically it comes down to Latos/Hosmer for Konerko.
Any thoughts based on my original post now that he's rejected the Hart for Latos offer?
dude, i think that Rajai Davis is a noticeably better SB option than Brett Gardner, as there's a reason this guy wants Rajai Davis. Sure his average is low right now, but Rajai tends to do that, and by the 2nd half he always gets up to ~.280+ overall and ends up with ~50+ SB. Right now Toronto seems to want to run the hell out of him, and you never know when he's going to up and drop 2-3 SB on you in a game.
Brett Gardner was a great SB guy in the first half of last year, then he slowed down on the SB pace and stopped hitting ~.300ish and blah... this year he started off with that blah, and only now is he starting to hit better, tho the SB pace is roughly what it is in the 2nd half of last year.
So be sure to keep that in mind when you make this trade.
The preceeding message has been paid for by Citizens for Rajai Davis.
I'd actually consider moving Quentin in a deal for Latos ... maybe Latos and Hosmer for Quentin if he'd do it. I think Quentin is an injury risk and has yet to prove what kind of player he really is. Hosmer has some good speculative upside and you get a nice arm out of it. I would not, however, do this with Konerko, as Paul is more stable imo.
Drop Abreu out of those options. But then again, Hosmer and Abreu are kinda similar in value, so are you willing to basically trade Quentin for Latos? Thats not bad, but I'm not sure it's really helping you either. I think Latos WILL improve, but I dont think he'll reproduce anything too close to his 2010 numbers.
