Latos on wire, who to drop for him?

Postby Chicago RedSox » Fri May 13, 2011 10:05 am

I'm having trouble deciding who to drop (if anyone) for Latos. My league seems down on him so he cleared waivers. He's just sitting there calling out to me.

12 Team, H2H, 8x8

C-Posada
1-Youkilis, C.Lee
2-Kendrick
3-Arod, Lowrie
SS-Hanley
OF-Granderson, Ellsbury, Francour, BJ Upton, Adam Jones
SP-Sabathia, Price, Buchholz, Harang, Billingsley, Bailey, Peavy
RP- Padilla, E.Sanchez, Aardsma(DL)

Sanchez is my weakest player, but I don't have many other save options. Peavy is a new addition, not sure what he is expected to do this year....

A one work answer would suffice. Any help is much appreciated. Leave a link and I'll return the favor.

I'd drop Peavy. I'm not convinced he's going to be that effective this season, so I'd certainly take the chance on Latos regaining his form rather then Peavy.

Easily Peavy. Harang pitching in SD has revived his career (although I would be careful about some of his road starts). Latos hasn't been horrible his last few times out, and has shown signs of possibly turning it around. Peavy has never looked comfortable after all the injuries the past few years.
